The 5th Sohar International Walk was held on Saturday, 10 January 2026, as a part of the Sohar Festival, Sultanate of Oman. The walk began around 6:30 a.m., covering an 8 km route from Suwaihra Beach to Sohar Fort, and aimed to promote health, wellbeing, and unity.
Indian School Sohar participated enthusiastically with students, staff, and families completing the full route and proudly representing the school. The camel and horse parade, boat show along with the musical band, and vibrant cultural performances were the main highlights of the event, adding a flavour of tradition and excitement to the overall celebration.
The event successfully encouraged an active lifestyle and strengthened community engagement the participation of Indian School Sohar highlighted to continued commitment to health awareness, social responsibility, and holistic development of students.
