Spell Bee is a fun challenge where students show off their WORD POWER. Beyond just letters and sounds, the Spell Bee Competition sparks a genuine curiosity for language in the learners.
Indian School Sohar successfully conducted the Spell Bee Competition for Classes I and II on February 4th and 8th, 2026 respectively.
The competition was held in three stages, the Selection Round for the whole class, the Dictation Round for qualifiers, and the Final Round to determine the winners.
The atmosphere was electric yet encouraging, making the competition a joy for the young learners.
The competition was conducted by Ms. Sweety Sinha for Class I and Ms. Tanuja Santosh Kadam for Class II.
The winners are:
Class I:
First Position – Avanthika Anilchandh (I E)
Second Position – Diyaan Suvarna (I E)
Third Position – Hasya Ram Wankhede (I A) and Muhammad Nashidh Pari (I C)
Class II:
First Position – Aatish Sanil (II I)
Second Position – Almeera Kalim Shaikh (II A)
Third Position – Saimithran Premkumar (II F)
