INDIAN NAVAL SHIPS VISIT

To make students aware about Indian Navy ,its fleet and operations  students of Indian school Sohar along with their  teachers visited INS Tabar, INS Trishul and INS Delhi on 21st September 2015 at Muscat Port

 

The students got first hand information about the strength of India’s naval power. They were filled with pride and admiration on seeing the indigenously built INS Delhi. They also gained insight about the state of art weapons like surface to surface missile launchers, surface to air missile launchers, gun mount, Turbido,  anti missile launchers, deep water missile launchers .

 

The students were inspired by the living conditions, challenges faced by the naval force and the excitement of performing the duty of protecting the coast line of India. This encouraged the students to know more about the career options in the Indian Navy.

 

Principal Sanchita Verma  expressed  that it was a great opportunity for the students to visit and see a Naval ship. This visit will surely open new vistas in career options for the students.
