A video session on life skills was recently arranged for the students of class VII and VIII on 27th Sept’15 and 4th Oct’15 respectively, by means of which students were given a deeper insight into the ten core skills listed out by the WHO. The session began with the Supervisor, Mrs. Indira Sukumaran introducing the students to the video presentation of their classroom content. Through this session, it was pointed out to the students that these skills are not water tight compartments, but in fact they are inter related in existence and application.
The students were also addressed by the Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma, and the students were further enlightened about actually applying the skills in their lives. They were informed that this interactive session would be followed by an assessment in the forthcoming week. The students got a clear picture of how these skills are related to the moral values in life and enjoyed the session conducted by Ms. Heena Shaikh and Ms. Navjot K Saini.
