The Kindergarten Section of Indian School Sohar organised a Safety and Awareness Day on 6 September 2026 to create awareness about essential safety practices among young learners.
Through engaging role-plays and a specially prepared PowerPoint presentation, the teachers introduced important concepts such as Stranger Safety, Body Safety and Digital Safety. The students were also sensitised to the importance of reducing screen time and using digital devices safely.
The programme was graced by the presence of Ms. Sanchita Verma, Principal, along with the Assistant Vice Principal, Headmistress and Supervisor, who interacted with the students and encouraged them to follow safe practices at school and at home.
The programme was an enriching and enjoyable learning experience, helping children understand that safety begins with awareness and responsible habits.
