Indian School Sohar athletes brought pride and honour to the school with their outstanding performances at the CBSE Oman Cluster Athletics Meet 2026, held across Indian School Muscat and Indian School Bousher from 28 to 30 August 2026. The athletics meet featured athletes from 17 Indian schools across Oman, competing in various Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 boys’ and girls’ categories.
In the 800m event, Shruthikaa Senthilkumar won a Bronze Medal in the Under-17 Girls’ category, while Blessy Vinod Jeeba secured a Silver Medal in the Under-19 Girls’ Triple Jump. Adding to this achievement, Blessy has been selected to represent Indian School Sohar at the National Athletics Championship, scheduled to be held in Patiala, Punjab, from 15 to 20 October 2026.
The success of the athletes reflects their dedication, discipline, and hard work, supported by the valuable coaching and guidance of Ms. Vaishnavi M.S. and Mr. Kamal Gurung. The School Management Committee, Principal, staff, and students congratulated the athletes on their remarkable achievements and wished Blessy success at the National Championship.
