A CELEBRATION OF TALENT AND JOY!

Mini Talent Show 2026–‘27 was organised for the little learners of Nursery, LKG and UKG of Indian School Sohar on 30th August 2026. The programme was a joyful celebration of the children's talent, creativity, confidence and individuality, providing them with a wonderful opportunity to come forward, perform and shine on stage.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Ms. Sanchita Verma, Principal; Mr. Yashvir Singh, Vice Principal; Ms. Indira Sukumaran, Assistant Vice Principal; Dr. Sheenam Samuel, Headmistress (Nursery–V); and Ms. Chitra S, Supervisor (Nursery–II). Their encouraging presence added warmth and joy to the occasion. They appreciated the sincere efforts of the teachers and the enthusiastic participation of the little performers.
The programme was thoughtfully planned, coordinated and successfully conducted by Ms. Dipti Baliga and Ms. Greta D’Souza, with the dedicated support of the kindergarten team.
The Mini Talent Show witnessed an enthusiastic response from the young participants, with a total of 61 participants across various categories. The little stars participated with great excitement and confidence in Dance, Storytelling, Poetry Recitation, Mono Act, Vocal Singing, Drawing, Art Forms and Open Talent.
A Splash of Dance
The Dance category brought the stage alive with energy, rhythm and colourful performances. The young dancers showcased different styles, including Western, Cinematic, Bollywood, Folk and Fusion Dance. Their cheerful expressions and lively movements delighted the audience.
Stories, Words and Expressions
The Storytelling, Poetry Recitation and Mono Act category gave the children a chance to express themselves through words, actions and emotions. The little performers confidently presented English and Hindi poems, stories, creative expressions and mono acts, making the performances both entertaining and heartwarming.
Melodies from Little Voices
The Vocal Singing category filled the venue with sweet and melodious voices. The children presented English and Hindi songs, action songs and instrumental performances. Their enthusiasm and love for music were truly delightful to watch.
Little Hands, Big Creativity
The Art Forms category provided a colourful space for children to express their imagination. Through drawing the young artists transformed their ideas into creative works of art.
A World of Wonderful Talents
The Open Talent category was a special platform where children could showcase their unique and interesting skills. The young participants amazed everyone with talents such as Flag and Car Logos Identification, Mime and Tables up to 15.
The various categories were assessed by an esteemed panel of judges, who observed the performances with care and appreciation. The judging panel included Ms. Sharmila Si, Ms. Megha, Dr. Sheenam Samuel, Ms. Dilna, Ms. Indira Sukumaran, Ms. Shradha and Ms. Antaripa, as assigned to the respective categories.
The Mini Talent Show was more than just a competition; it was a beautiful celebration of childhood, confidence, creativity and self-expression. For the little learners, stepping onto the stage itself was a wonderful achievement. Each child had the opportunity to overcome stage hesitation, express their talents and experience the joy of performing before an audience.
The programme reflected the school's commitment to nurturing every child's confidence, creativity and individuality in a joyful and encouraging environment. It reminded all that every child has a special spark waiting to shine. With encouragement, appreciation and opportunities to perform, the little stars took their first steps towards becoming confident and happy learners.
The event concluded on a joyful note, leaving everyone with beautiful memories of the little stars who dared to dream, stepped onto the stage and proudly let their talents shine!
