SAVE BATTERIES ! SAVE YOUR FUTURE…
A session was organised in school for 2 days on 10-02-2013 and 11-02-2013 by Mrs. Daniella Thuysman from Class IV to X to create awareness on “Used Batter Collection” for recycling.
The goal of this Battery collection project is to collect the used household batteries and recycle them.
The students are expected to deposit the used batteries in the collection bin provided by Mrs. Daniella at the school campus, which shall be picked up by her in a fortnight for a month depending on the frequency of the bin getting filled up.
There are also incentives to class with most batteries collected. The secondary students can win a cinema ticket each, while primary students will win a Fun City coupon in Safeer Mall.
It was an informative & a wakefulness program for students of different age groups.
