Mathematics Modeling Competition was conducted in Indian School Sohar for Classes III to V on 25th August 2016 to enhance the interest, skill and creativity of children in mathematics.
The preliminary round was conducted on 22nd August 2016 by respective mathematics teachers in each class. The final level was conducted on 25th August 2016 and was assessed by a panel of three judges.
The competition enabled the students to find out the most essential and elaborate characteristics of the object studied and also upheld an opportunity to receive new knowledge about the object which were unavailable before.
