The school’s special assembly was conducted by the students of class XI A. It begun with the prayer song followed by the lighting up of lamps by the principal and staff members on the occasion of Diwali.
The festivity went on with an inspirational quote, mind buzzing quiz and an informative speech enlightening the audience on Diwali – ‘The festival of Lights’.
The prize distribution ceremony proceeded. Trophies, certificates and medals were awarded to the CBSE Interschool Chess, Swimming and Basketball tournament winners.
The principal later lifted the spirits of the students with a motivational speech on how winning is not important but wanting to win is. The assembly concluded patriotically with the National Anthem of India.
