The Inter –House English Debate Competition for classes VI-VIII was held on 27TH November 2016. The finalists were selected after a preliminary round in all classes. The topic for class VI was “Soft drinks should be banned”, for class VII it was “Video games are good for children” and for class VIII it was “Face book should not be allowed for children under 14 years”.
Participants were keenly heard and judged by the panel of judges. To ensure the smooth conduction of the proceedings, a chair person, presenter and time-keeper were also appointed. First, second and third positions were awarded to deserving candidates from each class respectively. It was a good exposure for the students, participants as well as the audience.
