Hindi Declamation competition was held in Indian School Sohar for Classes IV and V on 21st November 2016. It was held with an intention to help the students gain confidence in public speaking. Such competitions help the students to improve their communication skills and learn an effective way of presenting their thoughts.
It was conducted in two rounds. The selection round was held on 10th November 2016 in which two students were selected from each section of classes IV and V for the final round. The topics ranged from Sangti ka Asar, Internet ka Prabhav and Madhur Vani for Class IV to Vriksh - Humare Mitra, Abhyas aur Prayas and Samay hote Balvan for Class V.
The students did full justice to their topics, displaying the power of words. In a competition judged on the basis of content, presentation, language and expression, each tried to outshine the others to best of his/her ability. The enthusiastic and zealous performances were appreciated, enjoyed and applauded by all.
