Two students of Indian School Sohar, Mohammed Uwais khan of Std IX and Prisha Singh of Std. IV participated in the CBSE National School Swimming Championship -2016 conducted from 15th to 18th November at Bhopal, India. They were accompanied and guided by Mr. Gagandeep Singh, Physical Education teacher.
More than 1000 participants from CBSE schools across India and abroad participated in 110 events held during the four-day long tournament. Students from Dubai, Qatar, Oman, Iran, UAE and Kuwait also participated in the national tournament.
Mohammed Uwais khan of class IX-D participated in U-17 Yrs Boys, 200 Mtrs Butterfly and Prisha Singh of Std IV 50 Mtrs Breast Stroke.
