A Special Assembly was conducted to mark World Earth Day 2017 at ISS on 23rd April 2017. Earth day badges were presented to the Principal, the Vice Principal and the Supervisor. A speech was presented to highlight the significance of the day and a quiz was also conducted on the same theme. The Quiz winners were also awarded with Earth Day badges in recognition of their effort.
The students presented an action song to assure the Earth of their commitment towards its preservation and waved their hands of promise to be together for saving the Earth. The younger generation trying to hold on to the Earth with their ‘green’ hands presented a heartwarming vision of the future, in the form of an Earth Collage, ensconced in caring hands.
An enlightening speech was also presented for the forthcoming occasion of Al Isra Al Miraj. Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma, addressed the students and inspired them to continue the good work at their small but significant level.
