"A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way" Keeping these famous words by John C.Maxwell in mind Indian School Sohar conducted its Investiture ceremony for the academic session 2013 -2014 on 9th May, 2013 to inculcate leadership qualities among its students. The much awaited ceremony started with a colourful dance performance by the girls of classes V-VI.
Sanchita Verma Principal, administered the oath and awarded the badges and flags to all the new office bearers .The School Captains, School Vice Captains, Sports Captain, Discipline Captain, Cultural Captain, House Captains and House Vice-Captains along with the Discipline Prefects took the oath of office. Donning the mantle of responsibilities, they pledged to discharge their duties to the best of their abilities.
Shine Abraham and Khateeja Sazmi were elected as School Captains.
Khateeja Sazmi, the newly elected School Captain, proposed the vote of thanks, and promised on behalf of the student’s council to guide their juniors and to take the school to even greater heights.
