SETTING NEW RECORDS AT A TENDER AGE

Suhas Sridhar, Class VII A student of Indian School sohar, was awarded the glorious Guinness World Records for being a part of Mother India Crochet Queens (MICQ) that made the longest crocheted scarf recently.

The length of the scarf was recorded to be 14.089 km (46,233 feet 9 inches), consisting of individual scarves measuring 7” x 80”. Suhas, as the official participant, received the award from the Guinness officials in Muscat for contributing two scarves.

He was lauded for his efforts in a special assembly at school. The Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma congratulated Suhas for his achievement. She remarked that anything is possible with dedicated effort and all students should take him as an inspiration to excel in life. ISS is proud of its student‘s achievement at this young age and wishes him luck for his future endeavours.
