Indian School Sohar achieved excellent result in class XII CBSE exam J. Krithika topped the school with 93.2% followed by Liz Maria Zacharias (93%), Valli Priyanka (93%), Nudurupati Anuhya Sai (92.2%) and Aishwarya Kurup (92.2%).
It is worth mentioning that this batch has done extremely well. Out of 60 students 35 students secured 75% and above in aggregate.
Total number of students in different subjects who secured 90% and above are 12 in English, 6 in Physics, 19 in Chemistry, 34 in Informatics Practices, 11 in Mathematics (optional) and 7 in Biology (optional).
The subject-wise toppers list is as follows:
English 95% - Liz Maria Zacharias, Aishwarya Kurup, Joby Anu John, Roanna M. Fernandes, Physics 98% - Nudurupati Anuhya Sai, Chemistry 99% Anuhya Sai and Aishwarya Kurup, Mathematics 95% Valli Priyanka, Nudurupati Anuhya Sai, Aishwarya Kurup, Snehil Srivastava, Himanshu Sharma, Patel Shreya Jayendra Kumar, Saumitra Tripathi, Biology 96% Liz Maria and Informatics Practices 99% Aashika Maria Naidu and Akansha Sinha.
The spectacular performance is mainly due to the hard work, perseverance and the determination to excel by the students and teachers.
Most of the students and their proud parents attributed the excellent performance to the hard work and deep commitment of the Principal Mrs. Sanchita Verma and the senior teachers.
Presently the school has Science stream. From 2013-14 students will appear in Commerce stream also.
The School Managing Committee and the Principal congratulated the students for their achievement and appreciated the efforts and hard work of the teachers and thanked the parents for the cooperation.
