Hindi Diwas was celebrated with essence and fervor in ISS to promote the use of the national language of India. The primary section of ISS held a special assembly to direct young minds towards the language which has been widely accepted not only in India but across the world and has gained popularity due to its simplicity and harmony.
The assembly started with a relevant thought expressing the need to embrace one’s mother tongue and value it. The speech and the poem recital gave a glimpse of how fond is this generation of the fragrance of the language as the children presented their views in an impeccable Hindi. The group song presented by the department of Hindi underlined the versatility and uniqueness of the language. Principal , Mrs Sanchita Verma further enlightened the students about the various ways by which they can promote the use of Hindi being in a foreign land. It was interesting to see many students coming up with novel suggestion which was applauded by the students and teachers. The principal accredited the efforts of the Hindi department to take initiative to promote the use of Hindi among the students.
