“Hindi is the simplest source of expression of our Nation.”
(Sumitranandan Pant)
Hindi is the second most spoken language in the world, after Mandarin Chinese. It’s estimated that nearly half a billion people worldwide speak this wonderful language and we are all proud that it is our National Language. As rightly told by Kamalapati Tripathi, Hindi is the soul of Indian culture.
Echoing the same, a Hindi Action Song competition was organized for the classes III- V on 27th November 2017 in Indian School Sohar. It was conducted to enhance and encourage the speaking skills using gestures and to build confidence in children. It inspired children to delve deep into the realm of poetry and express it in the best way possible in their national language. All the students participated in the contest with prodigious zeal and enthusiasm which left the judges as well as student audience mesmerized.
Anushree of III C and Bhavya S of III E bagged the first and second position respectively. The third position was shared by three of them, Nainika of III A , K. Pritika of III I and Sakshi of III C.
Devang secured the first position and Arnav of IV C and Ayesha Humerah of IV E shared the second position. The third position was shared by Rishul and Shivani from IV G.
Keyuri Buranpur and Sahana of V G bagged the first and second position respectively. The third position was shared by Shifa Shakir Ali of V E, Anushka Pandey of V C and Ananya of V A.
The competition resonated that the essence or soul of Indian culture is safe in the hands of its younger generation.
