WORKSHOP ON MOBILE ROBOTICS

Workshop on Mobile Robotics was conducted at Indian School Sohar by Innovians Technologies from India, on 5th and 6th of September, 2013. The workshop aimed at improving the basics of educational robotics and controlling a robot using a cell phone. It provided students a base to mobile/GSM robotics.105 students from VI to XII participated enthusiastically in the workshop.

 

 The first day dealt with an introduction to basic electronics, the practical use of electronic components like resistor, capacitor and diode. The students had   hands on session for development and designing of a manual robot.

 

On the second day the students were trained to assemble Mobile Robotic Kits. They were excited to design and develop mobile controlled Robot, and Line follower Robot. The workshop finally ended with a quiz and a competition. The winning team was given Certificate of Excellence and the participants were given Certificate of Merit.  

 

The workshop helped the students to gain knowledge in the field of robotics.  The School Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma appreciated the efforts taken by the Innovians Technologies to conduct the workshop for the children of Indian School Sohar.
