“It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving”
Staff and students of ISS experienced the true joy of giving on 3rd June, 2018 during the auspicious month of Ramadan, under the patron of the Green Gyan – Eco Club of the school.
An initiative by the club to help instill the value of charitableness in our children, with the hope that they will create meaningful connections and traditions for supporting others throughout their life.
Students of Class I - XII participated enthusiastically by donating dry food items like dates, fruits, cakes, biscuits, juices, etc. which were collected by the Eco volunteers, packed and distributed to the construction site workers in school as well as in the nearby locality. Part of the donation was gifted to several OIG camps which was received delightedly by the residents.
Lastly, a special function was organized where The Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma presented goodies to the Omani staff and private bus drivers wishing them a blessed Ramadan!
The Green Gyan – Eco Club Team is grateful for the wholehearted support of the students, parents and staff members in the huge success of the Drive.
