“Poem recitation is a mode of expression, a medium to reflect the latent talents of the young ones”.
The English Poem Recitation Competition (with props) of class I and II was held on 30-08-2018.
As we all know, poem is meant for enjoyment. Beauty is the realm of the poetry; the children enjoy the beauty of expression, thoughts, feeling, rhyme, rhythm and music of words.
Taking all these facts into consideration the children got opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. The children chose variety of topics for their recitation like Nature, Mother earth, my shadow, Value of time and good manners etc. with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. The eye catching props added icing to the cake. Overall the participants showed their confidence, expressions and talent in the competition and enjoyed themselves thoroughly.
The judges were Ms. Aditi Girish, Ms. Gayatri Prabhakarn and Ms. Shikha Mishra.
