Indian School Sohar emphasizes on inculcating values and thus celebrates all the religious festivals with great fervour and zest. The school witnessed a wonderful assembly on Sri Krishna Janmashtami which started off with the prayer, thought and a speech which elaborated the importance of the day. The group song captivated the student audience as it was about the life of Krishna. The scintillating dance performance by the students depicting the life of Krishna with his Gopis mesmerized the audience. Ms. Sanchita Verma, the Principal, gave away the prizes for various competitions namely English Calligraphy, Poster Making, Hindi declamation and Story Telling. She appreciated the efforts of the young talents who performed on the stage, congratulated the winners and motivated the student audience to take part in such competitions to come out in flying colours. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.
