The Board of Directors, Indian Schools in Oman conducted ‘Speech Craft Workshop’ for Teachers of all Indian Schools in Oman, on 14th, 15th, 21st and 22nd of September, 2018 at Indain School Darsait, Muscat.
The objectives of this program were:
1. To guide the participants to become better Communicators and Leaders.
2. Introduce the Toastmasters Step by Step program in guiding them through communication and leadership tasks.
3. Enable the participants to form and run Toastmasters Clubs and Gavel Clubs by understanding the procedures, formalities and the underlain principles.
The workshop was attended by four of our teachers, Ms. Francisca Menezes, Mr. Raghu Kattula, Ms. Prajitha P and Ms. Bindu Jayanthi. Ms. Francisca Menezes bagged the ‘Best Speaker’ and ‘Best Evaluator’ awards during the sessions. It was a fulfilling learning experience. This training introduced them to the elementary Toastmasters Program, which they will further develop in the school by helping students to become better Communicators and Leaders.
