Hindi Declamation Competition for the classes VI, VII and VIII was held at Indian School Sohar on 21st October, 2018. The main objective of the competition was to develop the art of public speaking and confidence. The intention was to motivate the students and to make them experience the depth and beauty of speaking in Hindi. The teacher in charge for the competition was Dr. Sunita Jha.
The judges appreciated and were impressed by the hard work and outstanding performance of the students. The three judges for the competition were, Ms.Shikha Mishra, Dr.Sanjeevani Sohani and Ms.Qazi Hajra. The students were encouraged to speak boldly and confidently by the Vice – Principal and H.O.D. before the competition began.
The following students were adjudged the winners of the competition.
VI : Shrishti Pandey Ist , Dhruvi Joshi 2nd & Sahana 3rd position
VII : Aashna Puri Ist , Aman Saji 2nd & Harit Mehta 3rd position
VIII : Karanveer Singh Ist , Naba Siddiqua 2nd & Saniya 3rd position
