The Green Gyan – Eco club of Indian School Sohar had organized another successful year of Cloth Donation Drive on 13th November, 2018.
As to instill the value of charitableness in the children, who are more likely to have a greater respect for others and an understanding of citizenship that can carry over into adulthood.
The Drive was inaugurated by the Principal – Ms. Sanchita Verma with her generous donations. She enlightened the students with her words of wisdom and appreciated their wholehearted participation.
An overwhelming response was received from the staff and students of the school with the support of the club coordinator, Mr. Kamal Prasad Gurung and the teacher in-charge – Ms Areej Abrar.
Items like reusable (old clothes), bed sheets, hand bags, shoes etc were collected by the Eco volunteers and sent to the donation boxes.
The Green Gyan – Eco Club Team is grateful for the generosity and empathy shown by the students, parents and staff members in bringing this drive to a huge success.
