“Every child is a different kind of flower and all together make this world a beautiful garden”
Children’s Day celebration focuses on children and their enjoyment. The day is celebrated to pay tribute to the legendary freedom fighter and our first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The teachers of Indian School Sohar always strive to emerge out with something new for their students every year. The teachers thought of a different beat and fun time. Teachers performed various programmes for the students in order to express their love and care for them.
The programme started with the prayer song followed by floral tribute to Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. The thought, speech and songs highlighted that children are precious for the teachers and they love them. The mesmerizing performance of the day were the Skit, Stand-up Comedy based on class room situation, Bobble-head dance, Bollywood bits, Poem Recitation, Fashion Show and Robotic dance by the teachers. The power-packed performance set the stage on fire. The students were overwhelmed with the entire effort. They cheered their teachers as they saw them on the stage. The day ended with a beautiful speech by the Principal, that students should follow the footsteps of Chacha Nehru and find happiness in every small thing. The entire programme was applauded by everybody present and will always remain etched in the memory of one and all.
