National Education Day (The birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad) was celebrated on 11th November 2018 in Indian School Sohar. A special assembly was organized by the students of Class VIII-D.
The assembly started with a floral tribute to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad by the Principal, Vice-Principal and the Supervisor. The assembly commenced with the prayer song, followed by the thought and news. The speech and quiz was based on National Education Day. A group dance was performed by the students. Principal encouraged the students to be a part of literacy Programme and gave away the prizes to the winners of various competitions. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.
