13-12-2018

“Christmas is the day that holds all time together.”               - Alexander Smith

Proclaiming the same message of being together, a special assembly to celebrate Christmas was conducted in Indian School Sohar on 12th December 2018. The assembly included prayer, thought, news and a speech which glorified the observance of Christmas. The celebration of Christmas and music has no boundaries; the carol songs presented by the choir group echoed the same, getting everybody into the spirit of Christmas and its gaiety. The main attraction of the assembly was the dance which included the special entry of Santa Claus. The children were ecstatic by his presence and the refreshing celebratory dance. The Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma, gave away the certificates to the winners of English Elocution & Recitation, Mathematics Modelling, TUX Paint and MS Paint competitions. The Principal addressed the gathering and appreciated the efforts of the teachers and students who organized such a mesmerizing assembly. She also wished the students a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and advised them to utilize the holidays by minimizing their screen time and adhering to a beneficial time table.

The message of the assembly was loud and clear- Come let us embrace the spirit of Christmas by bringing joy and happiness to all.
