"BEST OUT OF WASTE" PROJECT

Green Gyan –Eco Club of Indian School Sohar initiated and organized ‘Best out of Waste’ project with the objective to reuse and recycle of plastic bottles and old clothes for the students of classes V-VIII.

The response of the students was overwhelming which made this project a successful one. Under the guidance of the Section Supervisor Ms. Saima Ahmed Students made multipurpose pots of vibrant colours with used old cloths and cement.

Students made beautiful flower pots hanging with plastics bottles under the guidance of Section Coordinator Ms. Reji Sabu. All the flower pots are placed in the Green Gyan-Eco nursery, adding more colour to the nursery.

The volunteers presented flower pots to the Principal and Club Patron Mrs. Sanchita Verma. The Supervisor of class IX and X, Mr. Yashvir Singh and Supervisor of Classes III-V, Ms. Alka Singh graced the occasion with their presence.

As a part of encouragement the Principal and Club Patron Mrs. Sanchita Verma addressed the Eco Club members by encouraging them to organize more such activities to save the environment of the host country Oman and make it clean and green.

She appreciated the efforts of the students wholeheartedly and congratulated the Club Coordinator Mr. Kamal Prasad Gurung and team for the spectacular project. This project helped the students to inculcate the habit of Reduce Reuse and Recycle.
