“An incredible energizer to the human spirit is Enjoyment.”
With the objective of boosting the spirit of the Staff members, Indian School Sohar, organised a fun-filled picnic for the staff to Al-Ajmi farm house on 23rd February 2019.
All were welcomed by the team organisers in the morning. The day was made special by the celebration of the birthday of our beloved Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma, who leads us from the forefront in all our endeavours. To excite the interest of the staff and their wards several games were conducted namely Chocolate Race, Glass Pyramid, Balloon Bursting, Antakshari and Team Building which everyone enjoyed to the fullest. The sumptuous meal satisfied everyone’s palate. The day ended with a breath-taking game of Tambola.
Mr. Abraham George, The President of School Managing Committee, and Mr. Ajay Damani, Member of school Managing Committee graced the occasion by their presence. The organisers thanked Mr. Ajay Damani for sponsoring various prizes for the games.
The team of ISS appreciated the efforts of the organisers Ms. Preeti Jaipuriar, Ms. Kalpana Jha and Mr. Rahul Chaurasia. The picnic aimed not only at relaxation but also building up team spirit among the staff members. The memories of the picnic will linger on and enable the staff to work together with the spirit of oneness.
