A seminar was conducted by Mrs Rashmi Gopal an Environmentalist & an active member of Sohar Battery Collection on Thursday, 23rd January 2014 for students of Class IX, pertaining to the topics included in the OTBA (Science).
Power point presentation was shown on :-
- Clean Air-A Shared concern
- Environment And Development.
The presentation gave a broader insight on the topics. It took the children on a journey into the world of reality. Students shared and exchanged their views on the above topics and were reminded that protection of our planet and our environment is the need of the hour. They came to know ‘outside the box’ solutions for problems like global warming, ozone depletion etc and their role in making Earth a better place to live in.
It was an excellent, interesting, interactive and an informative session.
