CBSE CLASS 12 RESULTS: INDIAN SCHOOL SOHAR STUDENTS COME OUT WITH FLYING COLORS

It was a proud occasion for Indian School Sohar as its students scored a 100 per cent results with all its 104 students clearing the Class XII exams, results for which were declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on 2nd May 2019. Glow of pride, honor and joy are some words to describe the aura at school grounds.

Aasthaben Dipak Kumar Patel, Krithikha BalaMurugan along with Sarthak Johari topped the Science Stream with 95.80 per cent, while ­­­­­­­­­­­­Rahul Sunil Khatav bagged the second position with 95.40 per cent and Deep Sudhirbhai Antala and HarshKumar Nareshkumar scored 95.20 per cent each to share the third position. 

In the Commerce stream Aditi Maheshwari secured the first position with 94.4 per cent, followed by Shaheena A with 91.6 per cent while Sharon Shine grabbed the third position with 91.2 per cent. 

 Besides, out of 76 students who appeared in the Science stream 63 students scored 75 per cent and above. In the Commerce stream out of 28 students who appeared, 14 students scored 75 per cent.

The subject toppers are as follows: English-Aditi Maheshwari–95 per cent, Mathematics- Aasthaben Dipakkumar Patel – 98 per cent, Physics- Sarthak Johari – 97 per cent, Chemistry- Sabreen Faseeha Ameer & Sarthak Johari – 98 per cent, Biology- Mehta Tulsi Jagdishbhai & Sabreen Faseeha Ameer – 99 per cent, Accountancy-  Shaheena A –94 per cent, Economics- Aditi Maheshwari – 96 per cent, Business Studies- Sharon Shine –97 per cent, Entrepreneurship- Aliya Imtiaz C P- 90 per cent marks, Physical Education- Maria Ann John -100 per cent marks. An astounding four students, Aasthaben Dipakkumar Patel, Harshkumar Nareshkumar, Akhila Ficel, Anish Chockalingam secured100 per cent marks in Informatics Practices.

Amidst jubilations and celebrations, the Principal Mrs Sanchita Verma congratulated the students for bringing laurels to their alma mater as well as their parents. She thanked the teachers for guiding the students to this outstanding feat. She was full of praise for the praiseworthy efforts of each teacher who contributed to this accomplishment. She stated that the encouragement and motivation given by the SMC was commendable and the team effort of staff, students and parents has once again proved that hard work, camaraderie, perseverance and determination are the key ingredients of all success.

President Mr. Abraham George and members of the School Managing Committee commended the performance of the students and conveyed their joy to the Principal and the teachers for bringing out an excellent result. They congratulated the students for their hard work and the parents for their support and motivation which is instrumental in scripting yet another success story at Indian School Sohar.

All the students were delighted at the excellent results, thanking the School Managing Committee, the Principal, Vice Principal and the teachers for providing such an amiable and enriching environment and inculcating good academic practices in them. The parents lauded the school for its relentless efforts by providing extra classes, remedial and high achiever classes and timely periodical information about their ward’s performance, which helps in raising the bar of excellence higher every year.
