As we lose ourselves in the service of others, we discover our own lives and our own happiness.
- Dieter F. Uchtdorf
Every now and then, we meet younger versions of ourselves. For social workers, their lives are intertwined with those they are serving. We discover more and more about ourselves every day as we learn to help those around us. YCIS club inspired hundreds of students to take part in social service. A special Orientation programme was organized on 15th May 2019 to introduce the concept behind the club. Badges were presented by the Principal, Vice-Principal, Supervisors, Head of Departments & YCIS teachers in-charges to the newly registered members to boost them up to render their services for the well-being of the society and YCIS activity record sheets were given to the students.
The Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma appreciated the good work done by the students and she motivated the newly registered members to render selfless services to the community. Vice Principal, HoDs and other teachers also encouraged students and wished them well for their future projects. YCIS Coordinator Mrs. Indira Sukumaran, introduced the working model and appreciated the team for their good work done in the previous session. Vote of thanks was delivered by YCIS teacher in-charge Mrs. Anam Shaikh.
