HINDI POEM RECITATION COMPETITION FOR CLASS III

Reading through books is not the only medium of learning but fun filled activities and competitions also enhance the learning process. Keeping this in mind a Hindi Poem Recitation competition was organised in Indian School Sohar on 30th July 2019 for the students of grade III. These kinds of activities help a child to develop confidence, improve vocabulary and also help the students to get rid of stage fear. Children recited different poems with actions and lots of confidence. The students participated in it with great zeal and enthusiasm. The best three students from each section were selected for the final round. The participants confidently recited their poems on the stage. Various topics such as Khooni Hastakshar, Maa, Koshish Karne Walon Ki, Jhansi Ki Rani, Beti etc. were taken up by the students. They showcased their speaking skills through this competition. Their presentation was impressive and fascinating. The participants were judged on the parameters like confidence, content, pronunciation, voice modulation and overall presentation. Ms. Anuradha was the in charge of the competition. The winners of the competition are:-

First position -  Dhriti Basu – III C

Second Position -   M. Divya  Sharayu – III B

Third Position -  Abhinav  Singh and  Shubhrika  Singh – III D
