ENGLISH STORY TELLING COMPETITION FOR CLASSES I AND II

Stories give wings to our imagination and take us to places beyond the boundaries of our physical world and into the land of fairies, dragons and wishing trees. Story telling is an art of narrating and unfolding the narratives of a story. It has been a part of our culture and tradition from decades.

Indian School Sohar organised English Story Telling Competition to acknowledge and showcase our love for stories for classes I and II on 7.08.2019 and 8.08.19 respectively. The students narrated moral based stories with confidence, actions, expressions and proper pronunciation. Each story concluded with a moral highlighting different value of life. Enthusiasm and passion of the students were also witnessed by teachers and judges. The young students were appreciated and applauded for their wonderful performance.

The judges were Ms. Gayatri Prabhakaran, Ms. Rinkal Shah, Ms.Willina C. and Ms. Dishita Dave. The in charges were Ms. Shobha Madke for class I and Ms. A R. Rajalakshmi for class II. 

The winners are:

Class I:

First position      - Nandini Singh – I D

Second position - Sagarika Shree Lokesh – I H

Third position    - Meenakshi Dileep – I I

Class II:

First position      - Hridya S Nair – II D

Second position - Vidit Girdhar  – II F

Third position    - Mayura Sunil Kumar – II H
