'Festivals are characterised by colour, gaiety, enthusiasm, prayers and rituals.’ Sri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with sheer enthusiasm at Indian School Sohar. A special class assembly was conducted by all the classes of VI - VIII on 22nd August, 2019 on the occasion of Janamashtami, a festival which commemorates the earthly arrival of Lord Krishna. It is celebrated with great enthusiasm all over India. It is believed that Lord Vishnu reincarnated in the form of Lord Krishna on the auspicious day of Janmashtami.
