AI & PYTHON WEBINAR

Artificial intelligence (AI) is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines. These processes include learning (the acquisition of information and rules for using the information), reasoning (using rules to reach approximate or definite conclusions) and self-correction.

Python is a high-level, interpreted and general-purpose dynamic programming language. The syntax in Python helps the programmers to do coding in fewer steps as compared to Java or C++. The Python is widely used in bigger organizations because of its multiple programming paradigms.

7 teachers of Computer Science Department of Indian School Sohar attended an NCERT Teacher Training on CBSE AI and Python (Live 1 hr Webinar) on Sunday 08 September, 2019.

The webinar included several videos which made understanding the topics highly effective and interesting. It was designed to provide insight and understanding regarding:

• Why AI and Python programming for schools, how AI is different from traditional programming
• Hands on activities on AI, Python teaching tips, teacher materials and Q&A
• How AI is revolutionizing working of everything, eliminating repetitive work & mundane jobs
• Different branches of AI
• Highlighting the need to explore what is meant by AI, its relevant uses and how it relates to machine learning and data science
• An overview about some of the key roles that AI can play in transforming learning and teaching
