Indian School Sohar organized its 21st Annual Scouts and Guides Training Camp for the year 2013-14 at Indian School Muladha . 75 Scouts and Guides along with 13 Scout masters and Guide captains participated in the camp.
The Chief guest for the opening ceremony held on 14th February 2014 was Mr. Sheikh Ismail Sharrif, Principal, Indian School Muladha. Mrs. Sanchita Verma, Principal, Indian School Sohar extended warm welcome to the guests ,encouraged the students and conveyed her best wishes for the success of the camp.
During the camp, Scouts and Guides took part in basic tests and various adventure tests like Monkey Rope, Bridge crossing, Crawling etc. A trek was organized to Al-Houqaine where the Scouts and Guides enjoyed river crossing and rock climbing. A campfire was arranged in the evening, where a variety of cultural programmes were presented by various patrols.
Mr. Felix Vincent Gabriel was the Chief guest for the closing ceremony. Mr. Siddique Hassan, Treasurer , Indian School Muladha and Mr. Suresh V.S, Vice-Principal were also present.
Aditya Manoj and Aiman Muzammil J were adjudged the “Best Scout” and “Best Guide” respectively. Leopard patrol and Daffodils patrol were declared as best patrols for scouts and guides. Dr. Vinu Kumar, Vice-Principal, Indian School, Sohar was the Camp Incharge.

11. Best Guide :- Aiman Muzammil J (112 points out of 200)
