CLAY MODELING COMPETITION FOR UKG - 2019-20

Clay modeling is a fun art activity that involves sculpting and moulding a piece of clay into variety of shapes and objects. It develops fine motor skills, improves their eye-hand   co-ordination and improves attention span.

Clay modelling gives a great scope for imagination and develops creativity. We at Indian School Sohar, keeping this in mind wanted to give our tiny tots a platform to showcase their creativity.

Clay modeling competition   was organized for UKG on 10th October -2019. Children showed lot of enthusiasm and creativity in making their models on the theme ‘Insects’ and moulded their imagination. Mrs. Shalini Agarwal was the teacher in charge for this competition.

The Judges for the competition were Mrs. Sushama Chopde, Mrs. Komalam Srinivasan and Mrs. Lubna Siddiqi.

The winners of the competition are:

  • First Position – Gourikrishna – UKG Daffodil
  • Second Position – Shravya Upadhyay – UKG Daffodil
  • Third Position – Divya Sunila Rasheed  − UKG Jasmine
