Class I and II of Indian School Sohar celebrated 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji on 2nd October, 2019.The programme began with the morning assembly highlighting the significance of the day. The students saw a video on Gandhiji’s life and reflected on the great work done by him for India. A skit was presented by the students of class II G on Gandhiji’s ‘Non Violence Act’ and ‘Swachh Bharat’ mission, spreading the message of maintaining a clean environment and clean India as a tribute to Mahatma Gandhiji.
The theme ‘Main bhi Gandhi’ was given to all the students of class I and II. Many students came dressed up enthusiastically as Bapu.
Ms. Lubna Siddiqui was the in charge of the special assembly. The programme was co-ordinated by the supervisor Ms. Gauri Gadgeel.
