Indian School Sohar celebrated “World Health Day” on 7 April 2014 to mark the anniversary of the founding of WHO (World Health Organization) in 1948. Snehal Nair of class V- E delivered a speech on World Health Day. Vice Principal, Mrs. Starlet Vincent made the children aware of the vector –borne diseases and the theme “small bite big threat”.
Principal, Sanchita Verma motivated the children and gave important tips on keeping fit and healthy. Mass P.T was performed by the students of classes I-V on the occasion. A healthy boy and a healthy girl were selected from each class & section and were rewarded with chocolates.
The groundwork of all happiness is health.
