‘Technology, like Art is a soaring exercise of the human imagination.’
In order to give wings to the imagination of the young minds, the Computer Science department of Indian School Sohar successfully conducted a TUX Paint Drawing Competition on 30th January 2020 (Thursday) for the students of class IV.
The main objective to organize this competition was to unleash the artist in the young children through the medium of digital art. Total 27 students participated in the competition. The students were given 45 minutes to draw a picture by using different tools of the software. The students showcased their talent by doing the assigned work enthusiastically. They participated in the competition with great zeal. The judges were highly impressed and were overwhelmed to see the budding talents in young minds. The parameters for judging the students were: Concept, Neatness and Creativity. Ms. Meenakshi Satapathy was the teacher in-charge of the competition.
The following students were adjudged the winners of the competition.
First Position - Ryan Santhosh Paul - IV I
Second Position - Aimen Naaz - IV I
Third Position - Jiya Jigneshkumar Radadia - IV D
