Mathematics is logical and it should be solved with logical steps. It is very important to develop the ability to do Mathematics mentally in children. Some people seem to learn it easily while others struggle right out of the gate. As a result, it’s natural to wonder whether our brains are just wired differently. Doing some type of mental exercise, in the form of brain teasers or word and number games can boost overall brain activity, increase your memory power, improve memory and brain processing speed.
Keeping this in mind, the final round of Quick Brain Competition was held on 6th February 2020 for classes III- V. The main aim of conducting this competition was to enhance the speed and accuracy while doing the brain teasers. The Preliminary round (written) was held in all the sections of classes III-V on 27th of January 2020. The students participated with great enthusiasm and interest. They showed the best of their mental ability while solving the problems.
The Principal Ms. Sanchita Verma and the Vice-Principal Dr. Vinu Kumar applauded for the efforts of the organizers and inspired young minds. It was a great experience for all the students. The presence of Mr. Lourduraj [HOD Mathematics] and the Section Supervisor Ms. Alka Singh encouraged the students as they appreciated the efforts of young students. Ms. Mini Susam Lal was the Teacher in- charge for the competition.

Class V
First Position - Shauryavir Singh (V H), Rachit Amit Pandya (V C), Thrisha Rajendra Anchan (V E) and Surepally Tejus (V-B)
