Saying goodbye to our students at the end of the school year is always bittersweet. But this year, in particular, with school campus closed due to the Covid19 pandemic, how could we send our students of class XII without a farewell meet?
Students of class XI of Indian School Sohar, organised its very first virtual farewell meet for the outgoing batch of class XII, through Google meet, on Saturday, 11 July 2020 with great enthusiasm! Seniors also joined the farewell meet, enthusiastically, from Oman and India.
Though the farewell was virtual, the juniors were successful in creating an ambiance of enjoyment and music for the seniors with their live dance performance, song composed by juniors, with live band, in their homes and playing the flashback nostalgic video of class XII students. Many interesting and tricky live games pepped up the environment. The Principal, Vice Principal and the school Counselor, addressed all the students and motivated them with their words of wisdom.
Manasvi More and J Sharavan were crowned as Ms and Mr ISS. Suriya Mariselvan and Aamir Zabil won the most Popular titles.
