The President, Members of the School Management Committee, Principal, and staff of Indian School Sohar congratulated Sakshi Shetty of Class X for bringing laurels to the school with her marvellous achievement.
Sakshi Shetty swept the Oman Cricket Awards Night, as she bagged all the three individual prizes reserved for excellence on the field for the season 2019-'20. She fetched the Best Batswoman, Best Bowler and Best All-rounder awards. She also received the Runner-up Team Trophy. She scored 229 runs and took 9 wickets in six matches. This triumph will be etched forever in the minds of all those who witnessed it. The encouragement provided by the school is laudable.
She received the awards from the Chief Guest Janab Al Sayyid Qais Khalid Al Said, OC Vice-Chairman at Oman Cricket Academy ground in Amerat on Thursday, 17th December 2020.
This season was special in many ways as it is one of the moments in Oman Cricket which will be recalled time and again.
