Indian School Sohar celebrated Mother’s Day on 9th May 2021 by conducting a special online class assembly for the students.
Mother’s Day is a celebration honoring the mother, as well as motherhood, maternal bond and influence of mothers in society. To show the love and respect to their mothers, the enthusiastic students presented poems, cards and spoke about role of mothers. They conveyed gratitude to their moms for their unconditional love and care. A short video presentation by the Samarpan club depicted that “A mother is a person who has done more for you than anyone else in the world” At home children celebrated by painting and presenting greeting cards, preparing meals, decorating home, displaying posters etc to make mothers happy on this special day.
