Indian School Sohar is striving ahead in pursuit of excellence. As a part of professional development programme for the teachers and staff members, a webinar was organized on Sunday, 30th May 2021 on the topic – Learning from Mistakes by Ms. Ambika Gulati, Principal, The Millenium School, Dubai.
Ms.Ambika Gulati is an academician par excellence and a renowned CBSE Resource Person, who conducted various sessions for the Principals and teachers. The Principal Ms. Sanchita Verma initiated the webinar with her warm welcome speech. The resource person was formally introduced by the Vice-Principal Dr. Vinu Kumar.
The session was an eye opener for all the participants. The Resource Person emphasized on how to intelligently handle the after effects of mistakes and use the lessons learnt effectively for future progress. She highlighted to the staff members about the importance of learning from the previous mistakes. She also stressed on how to enable students to see mistakes as powerful learning opportunities.
During the session Ms. Ambika engaged the participants with interactive activities using tools such as Padlet, Mentimeter etc.
