With the objective to provide a challenging and engaging mathematical experience that is both competitive and educational, Indian School Sohar organized an Online Quick Brain Contest for the students of classes III, IV & V from 30th May 2021 to 2nd June 2021.
The competition was designed to encourage the students for achieving the skills of speed and accuracy as well as to create an urge and ambition to understand Mathematics from an early age.
In the preliminary round, a quiz was given using Google Form, where all the students could participate to solve maximum questions in the stipulated time.
For the final round, the students had to answer the questions based on a video, images and puzzles which were displayed on the screen.
The students participated enthusiastically and showcased their brilliance by rapidly answering the questions.
They found this competition very informative, interesting and enriching.
Top 5 students from each class were declared the winners.
Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma addressed and encouraged the participants with her inspiring words. She appreciated the students for their active participation, organizers for their effort and the parents for their support.
Summing Up, The event helped the students in identifying their capabilities and motivated them to learn and expand their knowledge further.
