30th COMEX hosted the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence – Ai. 6th June 2021 was selected to celebrate School Ai Day. The celebration was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Education – MOE Oman. The event was also supported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Ministry of Technology and Vision 2040 Secretariat.
The students articulated about the Artificial Intelligence - Ai (duration 10 – 12 minutes pre-recorded video/live) at their grade level (Future Kids age 9 – 12, Young Adults age 13 – 16) and how Ai technology helped them as a key Education Technology – Ed Tech, during pandemic and how they see Ai as part of future of education.
From Indian School Sohar, 27 Students participated from class IV to XI in this conference under the mentorship of Ms. Sudha Pitchiah Computer Science faculty of the school.
Students presented their various AI - innovative projects (Facial recognition, Emotion detection, Medical X-ray diagnosis, Corona infection detector, Home automation, Object identification etc…)
